Early Intervention

At ʻOpio Makamae, our early intervention program focuses on teaching parents to be competent in promoting early speech and communication skills.  We also provide intense one-on-one intervention for your keiki.  If your child is diagnosed with being on the autism spectrum continuum, has a syndrome, or is not talking by the age of 2 years old, treatment might be beneficial.

Education/School-Based  

ʻOpio Makamae is staffed with experienced Speech-Language Pathologists working with children from ages 3 to 21 with a variety of school-based needs.  Below are some common areas or deficits that might require education-based speech therapy.
