Medical Services
Medical Speech Language Pathology Services are offered to those requiring language, cognition, communication, and swallowing needs
Adult Services
Communication is an incredibly powerful tool for connecting social human beings. When you or a loved one has trouble with communication it can be deeply frustrating requiring the help of a Speech-Language Pathologist for rehabilitative services. Needs for adult speech therapy can include the following causes: Aphasia from a stroke, Traumatic Brain Injury, Dementia, or Parkinson’s Disease.
Pediatric Services
As licensed medical speech-language pathologists, we provide in-depth evaluation and treatments on medically complex pediatric patients needing speech and language intervention. Our pediatric population may be developmentally delayed. They may also present with oral tethered tissues and tongue thrusts, lower cognitive functioning, or a need for alternative and augmentative communication devices.
Swallow Services
Dysphagia, or swallow difficulty, can have a variety of causes ranging from rare congenital deficits such as laryngeal clefts or cleft palates, neurological changes such as with a stroke, or structural changes through resections or radiation in the head and neck cancer population. ASHA (American Speech Language Hearing Association) maintains that speech language pathologists (SLPs) are the most qualified providers of dysphagia services in all practice settings. We evaluate and treat clinical dysphagia and feeding disorders across the lifespan.
